For the next 2 weeks we will be going swimming at the Makino. Everyone is doing it!!! Mrs McIntyre took videos of us swimming so we could set some goals for ourselves. Here's Alex in his first session, Enjoy!!! :)

a few days ago we had to present our speechs in our class. Haylee and Connor represented us in the speech finals. They both did awsome jobs and Haylee came in first place. Great job Haylee for making into the inter-schools!!!!

Great work on this weeks photo challange Room 9. I love the devil on your shoulder idea. The rugby ball was good thinking girls, it worked out well. Maybe next time we can use the field when it's a bit dryer.

This photo is an optical illusion. The shoe is actually far smaller than the people but it is made to look larger by placing it closer to the camera. The people are then made to look smaller by being placed further away. Your challenge is to create your own optical illusion photos.Take a look at the photos that we have in the class to get some ideas.

When Miss Lewis came into Room 9 she taught us a type of art called tapa. We made a HUGE mat of different tapa art designs. We made a few and had to choose our favourite one to put on the tapa cloth.
