this is maria she is one of our new girls. maria has been in our class for four weeks now. she has lots of friends in the school.

this is jessica pike, she has been in our class for 5 days now an she already has made lots of new friends.

All of our planning came together on Friday at 12:10 when our spider drink sales started.The bell rang and way more children arrived then we had expected. Good thing we were organised with lines for each team, jobs for each student and a desire to raise some money for our cause. We all worked together and ended up selling 233 spider drinks. I can’t wait to send the $233.00 into the Red Cross Christchurch Appeal next week. Congratulations Room 9, you did it!!

In room9 (us) we are selling spider drinks to our school. We are doing this to fund raise money for the Christchurch earthquake. The earthquake was 7.1

In Room 9 we have been looking for a way to raise money to help meet the needs of people in Christchurch after the earthquake. Here is an interesting video where some kids around our age explain their experiences.

This is our new student teacher Miss Fowler. She will be in our class for 2 weeks.
